Turn your wrecked R53 into a fully restored Classic 1980 Vespa P200e scooter.

First, what I have to trade: 1980 Piaggio Vespa P200e scooter that was completely dismantled, sandblasted and repainted a few years ago. The P200e was the largest displacement, air cooled scooter Vespa ever made (200cc, oil injected 2 stroke) it is capable of 60mph while getting 65mpg. Unlike the modern Vespas, this one is all steel. The motor was rebuilt less than 500 miles ago and the 4 speed manual transmission has a new clutch and cruciform. The front brake was converted to a late model hydraulic disc for safety. The tires don't have many miles but are a couple years old now. I have a clear windshield for it, a chrome luggage rack, a paint matching fiberglass trunk and a well worn but perfectly usable cover that goes with it.

Now, what I am looking for: I wish to obtain a donor drive train to do an S conversion on my 2002 justa, that means I need a 2002 to 2004 R53 with engine, manual transmission, and ECU both good and completely intact. I don't care if it's wrecked, rolled over or a partially dismantled project that you ran out of steam or money on. So long as the drive train is good, strong and doesn't have missing parts or broken mounts. I am located in southwest Missouri but if we agree to trade, we can work out the details of logistics of cars located elsewhere.

I am sure that there there will be those that suggest that I sell my justa and the scooter and buy an S. My justa is in perfect shape in the color I want with all the suspension and brake mods done already.

DO NOT MAKE CASH OFFERS ON THE VESPA! I will not answer them. I am offering to trade my beloved albeit under used scooter to feed my Cooper addiction, otherwise I would not even entertain the idea of parting with it.
