My latest mod.

If anyone has a front plate mod, how do you have yours secured? Sharing a PIC(s) would be nice too, as I'd love to see them.

3M VHB (Very Heavy Bond) double sided tape works great. I have a 370Z and a number of us use the tape to avoid drilling holes in our front bumpers.

My car had a front plate mount already from dealer so I just used existing holes

I didn't have holes, but noticed two tiny indentations on the bumper. I drilled into those with two 1" aggressive thread self tapping screws and added a dab of powerful bond/glue to them as I was screwing them in. I repeated the procedure on two of the outer screws as my bumper is slightly curved. Quite tight I must say. Sure, if someone yanked on it I'm sure it would come out, or if I wanted to remove it (reverse drill) they'd give.

I just didn't want it flying away on its own. :-(

However, if it does come loose, I may go this route (image below). The plastic pieces have a lip that will catch behind the rubber bumper. Offering some form if an anchor.
