First Car & First MINI (2015 F56)

Hello NAM!

My name is Arnold and I bought a 2015 MINI Cooper S (Blazing Red / White)!
I've been wanting a MINI since 2008, and thought that the F56 would be a great start to my MINI craze.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait til October because of production and shipment.
My MA said that I might have missed the previous production date.

I found it funny that I've wanted a MINI and pretty much just a MINI for so long, just because I never considered myself a "car person".
However, I can't resist that MINI charm.

Been reading a lot of the forum and found so much useful information!
I absolutely love the Detailing 101 Forum, and even though I don't want to be OC about car care, I think I'm starting to slowly get to that point with all the planning.

I'll definitely be posted a lot of pictures, and I'll try not to make any useless threads!

Thanks for reading guys!

***EDIT***

Is there an Official Blazing Red Club or just Chili Red?

Welcome, I am sure that you will find this forum both a great source of information and entertainment. I am also interested in the seeming lack of a "Blazing Red" owners club. My car is blazing red with black roof, mirrors, bonnet stripes and wheels. It's currently about half way between Southampton and the Panama Canal.

Hey pagliar, I bet you're very excited for your MINI!
Seems like this forum is the only thing keeping me from going crazy!

Three months is quite a long time to wait but I'm sure it'll be worth it!

You know of any recommended upgrades for the F56? I've read that the R56 improves a lot with a stiffer sway bar, but don't know what an F56 might need.

Check out the F56 forum, there is lots of stuff there. Mine will probably stay stock except for the Union Jack mirror covers I want to put on it.
