R60 2012 Countryman & VisseO WMA 1000
I have a 2012 Countryman with no navigation system or MINI Connect. I am interested in connecting my iPhone 5S via Bluetooth. Have anyone tried the VisseO WMA 1000 bluetooth adapter using the Y cable? Is there any other alternatives beside the VisseO?
Thanks

It works well for playing music in my 2014 CM. This device does not support the phone, but that's fine because the phone can connect directly to my CM's bluetooth for that (at least in my model year the bluetooth is there without nav/connect, but it can only connect as a phone). The visseo is soley for music streaming (think iPod, not iPhone).
Sound quality is great. Controls on steering wheel work (except for speech button which supposedly does not work for anyone). Playlist and random controls on stereo soft panel do not work, but IMHO the phone is a much better for this purpose. This is with an android phone, so I suspect an iPhone might be even better.
Only miss for me is the lack of a pause button in the Mini. You can do this on your phone or turn the stereo off/volume down. This has nothing to do with the visseo. It's Mini's gap.
There are many aux to bluetooth converters out there. They won't support the controls on the steering wheel (which is worth the premium for Visseo). If your car does not currently support bluetooth for the phone, this might be a better option.
