Interior/Exterior 6418 Festoons not fitting 2005 MSC?

6418 Festoons not fitting 2005 MSC?
I took a look here to get the right detail to replace my license plate bulbs:

Which calls out the 6418 Festoon as the right size for a 2005 MCS. So I grabbed a couple from here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...d-festoon/233/
When fitting the LEDs, they flash, rather than be a constant light source. Have I made a blunder getting these ones?
