Crashed my MINI, good news/bad news

Bad news - I had to make an emergency maneuver on the freeway 2 weeks ago that put me over a curb at 60 MPH (he other option was the back of a car, I feel I made the right choice). Most of the damage was to the tires and wheels. I was not happy as I have the R90s. The only other damage was the clips for some trims broke (easy fix) and the dipstick and dipstick tube got bent, the tube bent right back with no leaks but the stick will be replaced.

More bad news - It took them 2 weeks to fix my car. They guy tried ordering from a standard service/parts place, what an idiot. He ended up getting every thing though mini. One of the hold ups was it didn't pass alignment so they had to wait for a rt knuckle and control arm. The control are showed up but the knuckle took and extra day and a half. There is now a noise that was not there before, it sounds like metal scraping, sort of like when your brakes need to be replaced. They are going to look at the car again Monday.

The good news - I finally got my car back yesterday and it is just as fun to drive as I remember. I got 4 new wheels and 3 new tires for the cost of my deductible ($500 deductible, the wheels and tires totaled over $2K). The old wheels were not in good shape and neither were the tires so this has increased the value of the car for sure.

I'm so glad it wasn't worse, there was almost one less MC40 on the road.
