Mini steering wheel logo peeling

Just noticed that the steering wheel mini logo is starting to peel. Has anyone had this problem and what was done. I still have warranty left on the the Mini so i will give them a call. Some have said that the airbag has to be replaced or can the logo just be removed and replaced? Thanks

Welcome to the club, it happens to all of us, you should see my key FOB! Forget about the Mini warranty, it's not a defect it's wear and tear. Happens to all make of cars and trucks, if replaced you would have to get the airbag reprogrammed not replaced.

I don't see how the logo on the steering wheel is wear and tear, especially as it's not something that you ever touch except possibly when you honk the horn.

However I am not sure it would be covered by warranty. My new to me CPO R53 had this issue straight from the dealer.

My sisters Cadillac had the same issue as did my brothers cars and trucks, reason why it comes off is because of how widely the temperatures vary during the day and night constantly expanding and contracting through heat cycles.
