I have a 2014 MINI F56 hardtop on order that should arrive in a couple of weeks. Anyone have an idea what it will cost to register with the state? I'm only looking for an "about" number for planning purposes.

Depends on the purchase price. My CM was about 35k and the tags/registration was about $700. I think there is a link some where on the states website you can email and get a quote. There might be a chart to help you estimate. I usually Wait until my temp tags are close to get the most out of the temp tags. But watch out what day the expire. If it is near then end of the month the dmv can get busier. Usually you get a card in the mail saying it is ok to go in and get your plates.
