I just bought a 2006 mcs with 50,000 miles, garaged winters, very nice condition!
I want to trade the chrome mirror caps for black and rear hatch trim bar for red.
Mirror caps I prefer to be black but I may just plastidip the chrome caps if nobody offers a swap.

 

Plastic dip them. I suggest pulling off the parts and spray all the way around to prevent roll up. Mine has lasted for 2 years and a bad winter. or wrapping would be a good idea.

 

I did the plastidip on my last mcs mirrors and was satisfied but I would prefer a gloss black look, maybe I'll attempt a rattle can job or look into wrapping.

 

Maybe Plasti dip them and then coat them with the Glossifier.
