White hood stripes turning brown
The white stripes on the hood of our '12 Cooper S getting brown blotches.
The brown will not wash off.I have had to use compound to remove the blotches before and then followed with wax.
Does not take long for the stripes to turn brown again.
Anyone seen this?

That sounds pretty premature for a 2012. Talk to the dealer, it may be something that they'll cover under warranty!
Has there been "stuff" that fell on the stripes on those places? Compound would be wearing away at the vinyl material; not sure how long it would take to get all the way through it.
...Yeah, I'm thinking that a trip to the dealer would be a good idea. If that's not feasible, maybe a chat with a detailer or a good paint shop might give you an idea where the blotches are coming from and how to deal with them.
