Next year, the last Star WARS film will be coming out. To celebrate, Lucasfilm is haveing it's "Celebration III" during the tail part of April (21-24th) in Indianapolis. I thought that the dates just before that, we could drive up and meet there and if you were so inclined, attend the Celebration like I will be. I don't know how many Star Wars/MINI fans there are out there, but it would be a way to get LOTS of MINI's together from all the states. I would be leaveing from around Tampa, but everyone could meet up as we drove from there via a web site I would manage from my MINI that would plot our course. Seem like perhaps a good idea? any Thoughts? Thanks!

I applaud your enthusiasm! I want you to know that the third annual Tail of the Dragon MINI Meet will be held May 5-8, 2005 (I think those are the dates), at Deal's Gap on the Tennessee/North Carolina border in the Smoky Mountains. The Dragon is an awesome road, Rte. 129, that has 318 turns in 11 miles! It is considered one of the very best roads for motorcyclists and sportscar enthusiasts! :smile:

The past two years, there's been quite a large contingent that have motored up to the Dragon from Florida. Depending on how much time everyone has, maybe you will get a good group of Floridians and others to join you on this fun-sounding Star Wars MINI-trip, then motor on over to the Dragon, where there may be as many as 200-300 (or more) MINIs!
