Hey, i'm new to the mini scene. I'm hopeing to buy a MCS in the next few weeks. Been thinking about it now for a few weeks, decided it would be fun to mod a Mini. I currently have a 89 mustang 5.0 w/ a few mods on it but mods are expensive for a v8 and fuel economy sux ( about 10-12mpg the way I drive ). Any tips on what i should look for? I have been wanting to road race, being that 1/4 mile racing gets kinda boring and only tests your driver skills so much. best yr? good price for a mini s? thanks guys.

Lots of thread on this - try a search for the best info.
Depends on how much you can afford - the cheapest will obviously be the '02 - only serious issue I have with those is that the PS fan and radiator fan are on the same circuit. If your PS fan goes, you overheat. Otherwise the build quality has improved over time, but no BIG feature changes year over year.
