Sound of Turbo Spooling

I am sorry if this has been covered, I am sure it has. I ran my search several ways but was unable to answer my question.

I currently have an AEM intake (with the scoop), and a forge BoV. I know my list of upgrades coming down the road, my question is which upgrade will actually allow me to hear the turbo spool?

I thought with changing the intake it would increase the sound of the turbo spooling but it didn't do that. Will changing the turbo piping out with the silicone pieces, thereby deleting the resonator do what I am wanting?

I understand how the tuning of a turbo car works, you have to add a bunch of parts before actually seeing the large increase one is looking there. (with a tune of course) ... so it doesn't matter to me which parts I add next, I just want to hear the turbo. The car will get all the proper parts and tune before I am done.

Thanks!

An open filter intake would really allow you to hear the turbo. You don't hear it much on your AEM because it's still a fully closed system. Something like the NM intake really makes it louder.

+1, but before thinking you need a new intake try getting a resonator delete tube 1st. I have the NM intake with the Forge delete tube and Diveter Valve. NM allows for you to here the blow off sound, but I believe the delete tube helped pronounce it even more. Now with the combo I'm running there is all sorts of spool and psshhh noise to be heard LOL...
