How do i remove a wmw 15% s/c pulley
Hey guys, used the search but could not find anything on removal of aftermarket pulleys. My R53 is going away and I need to remove the way motor works 15% pulley but forgot how. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Marcus

Hi, are you selling the car? If you are you are better off leaving the WMW pulley in place, I don't think that you can re install the factory pulley since is pressed in, but I could be wrong. Unless you are going to replace it with a different size pulley I don't think that you should bother.
well you can re-install the factory pulley but you would need to have the pulley,
And to avoid damaging the case, I would probably tear down the supercharger, tear down the snout, and press it directly onto the shaft.
Chances are you may be able to just put the pulley on the tip of the shaft and press it on without causing any damage, but i wouldn't be the one to try it off of the bat!
Regardless, it would require removing the supercharger from the car.
best to leave the pulley on imho... they are cheap (relatively) so you are not loosing much if you were thinking of re-selling the part...

Good advice given. You will expend far more labor trying to change it out than it's worth, not to mention the possibility of screwing up something in the process. The car will be much easier to sell with the added performance that the pulley gives.
Thanks for the responses. I had a stock pulley and seemed to remember the WMW being serviceable, but cooler heads prevailed and I let it go to auction with the pulley.
