Lloyds Floor Mats - Bamboo color

I recently purchased a new set of floor mats for my Mini Cooper and wanted to share a photo of how they looked. For those in the market for aftermarket mats, Lloyds is a very respectable brand. I've had a few different sets in various cars and they're always top quality. They are cut and sewn on an as needed basis, so you have to wait about a week or so before they arrive.

I chose the lightest beige color they had for this set (Bamboo) and added in the Union Jack logo on both the front floor mats. Looks great. The only downside was that the fasteners from Lloyd (hook) were different than the Mini ones (Velcro), so I had to swap them out.

The color is not an exact match for the beige carpets, but it's close enough. For some odd reason, Mini does not produce anything other than black floor mats for the R56.

My only concern with the beige is that it would get dirty and stained quickly. Maybe that's why Mini uses the black mats.

Wow - those look nice! I wonder if they could make some faux Goodwood mats?

You can, they're not cheap and would probably be a PITA to clean:

The Goodwood floor-mats are wool and really nice. Like you should be barefoot , they feel that good. The Goodwood mats are cornsilk beige.

MINI has mostly black - grayish black but with different styles and piping other the the JCW mats which are checkered. Here are some example.

Depends a bit on your climate and whether you swap them out in the winter months. Since I practically live in a desert, it's not a problem. The nice thing about the Lloyds mats is that they survive being tossed into a washing machine with no issues. However, don't stick them in the dryer; just let them air dry flat.

Once dry, hit them with 3M stain guard spray. I found I wash them about once every two to three months and they're fine.

The only down side is the lack of a heel pad.
