Turbo-Charging non-s

I've been exploring some different options for adding power to my non-s. I've been looking around and have found several turbos that are for sale. Has anybody heard of or had experience with this? Is it even possible to add to the non-s? Thanks!

The engines in the S and non-S are different, so it's not just a matter of bolting on a turbo and taking off. Cylinder compression, injector size, timing, and other things need to be taken into consideration. Plus, the ECU in the non-S is not set up for a turbo and would most likely need to be replaced. You'd essentially need to replace the entire engine, exhaust, ECU, wiring harness, etc.

It will be cheaper AND more relilable to trade the car and buy an S......
While the motors are similar (s and non s) they are not similar enough to slap a turbo on and then tune (an added expense)....
And for every 100 threads about this, one has tried, and maybe ONE in ten of those threads has resulted in a running car......lots of hoopla about "I did it"...look at minitourqe...then they presumably dissapear never to be heard from as the car goes boom!!
If you want to spend hours facricating parts, spend hours in junkyards scrounging.... And THEN have to spend $$ to tune....and have a less relilble car with near zero retail that is a time bomb....go for it!!

What about looking into aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake, performance spark plugs/wires, tune for 91 octane, pulleys.

In my younger days added quite a bit of pep to an originally 92hp Eclipse.

Doing some mods may be cheaper and more reliable, and get you about an extra 20-40hp.
