Here are some pics of my new Lounge Leather seats that I have installed in my 08 Cooper. They are replacing my heated black leather originals which are in near perfect condition, but I have always thought the Lounge Leather seats were very comfortable. I couldn't resist the chance to get a set when I found it. The originals are listed in the Marketplace if anyone is interested. They will be cleaned up over the next day or so.

 

looks awesome! love the piping… what do think of the cosmopolitan floor mats to go with it (match the white piping)? where did you get the seats???

 

Thank you! I have those molded rubber mini mats in the front and I made rubber mats for the rear. I would love to get carpeted mats but I feel indestructible with these rubber ones. I found a guy in Pa who deals with seats. He just happened to get these in and I couldn't get my mind off of them. I was shocked how quick I could swap them out. It is so incredibly easy.

 

I wonder is your guy has an extra set laying around… I searched on eBay UK and they want almost 2k for the front and back and they won't even ship to the US. As for the mats… I too have an all-weather mats for the winter and spring season. I will switching to carpet mats as soon as by late spring. Rubber mats track a lot of footprints versus carpet mats that camouflages it but still needs to be periodically dusted or vacuumed.

Congratulations on your new seats! For now, I will dream about it until something comes turns up.

ps… there is a local upholstery shop around me but I am not too keen about the downtime. dude said they will need the car for a week to do all the seats.
