Cooper S Coupe Mesh Stone guards

Trying to find where to buy or have manufactured a set of wire mesh (stainless steel) stone guards for my 2013. Can anyone suggest who would build a set for me? Have looked everywhere and come out empty handed.

I am determined to add that look to my Mini come hell or high water! Help me make it happen. Thanks.

No. I want to put mesh stone guards on the main lights. I have never seen it on a Mini but know they would look awesome. Can't find anyone that manufactures them so am looking for someone that would fabricate them

To be effective they'd have to stick out above the headlight cover itself, which would look a bit weird, IMO... But to each their own.

Best bet would probably be to look around for local metal fabrication type places who could use your car/lights to design and fit the covers. Any online place would have to get their hands on a car to design them. MINI specialty places probably aren't going to be interested since I highly doubt there's a large enough market for such a product to make development worthwhile. Not to mention the potential for liability with sticking anything in front of a headlight and impairing the light output (would have to market as "for off road use only" / "not DOT approved").

If you find someplace to do it, you could always commission a few extra sets and try to market them yourself if you think this is something folks might want...

dsquared

Maybe something like the "Dsquared" offroad mini cooper s?
It is a one-off custom sponsored by BMW for the Life Ball in Vienna Austria.
The headlight trim rings appear thicker than stock to hold the wire mesh away from the headlight itself.
