Wheel Cleaning on 2009 R55
Wheel Cleaning on 2009 R55
Just used Sonax Full Force for the 1st time on my 2009 Clubman. Applied on dry wheels on a cloudy day. Let sit for 8 minutes and hosed off. There was still some brake dust on the wheels so I applied Sonax again [wet wheels] waited 3-4 minutes then scrubbed with a brush. That helped but the wheel still aren't completely clean.
Will subsequent applications remove more of the deposits? Is there a recommended brush I should use? Should I apply a wheel wax after cleaning? And how often should I expect to maintainence my wheels w/Sonax [I drive about 200 miles/week]? I'll be sure purchase EBC pads for my shop to install when needed [which I found cheaper than OEM pads]. TIA

I like Adam's Deep Wheel cleaner more than Sonax. I apply the Deep Wheel Cleaner, then agitate it with their lug brush and it works great.
