BC Racing Coilovers

I inquired about these coilovers for my 2011 All4S , I got a response that follows, apparently these guys make the Megan coilovers and others , however according to BC Racing these work for both 2WD and AWD, I'm still debating whether or not to go coilover vs H&R Springs and Bilstein but the price is right. Could be a reasonable option

From BC Racing:
I have confirmed that part number T-03 for the 2011+ R60 Countryman will fit both 2WD and AWD models. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

BC Racing Coilovers Mini Cooper Countryman [BR Type] (2011-2014) T-03
30 levels of dampening adjustable w/ front camber kit
The ultimate street coilover! BC Racing has been known amongst performance enthusiasts to manufacture one of the best coilovers on the market. There is almost no equal to the level of performance, adjustability and ride quality you receive from BC Racing Coilovers. BC Racing makes it easy to replace your factory suspension with a full performance coilover system by including everything you need in a comprehensive kit. These coilovers come with an adjustment **** that makes it easy for you to set the coilover dampening to your specific needs and adjust compression and rebound together. You can also adjust how low you want the vehicle by adjusting the shock body, as opposed to cheaper kits that make you compress the spring in order to lower the vehicle. The benefit of lowering the vehicle with the coilover shock body vs spring compression is that you do not lose suspension travel and do not force your vehicle to have a worse ride because you adjusted your coilovers very low.
BC Racing BR Type Coilovers Feature:
  • 30 Levels Of Dampening Force Adjustment
  • Adjusts compression and rebound at the same time
  • Fully height adjustable through shock body, not by compressing springs
  • Each lower mount is designed to fit with OEM in mind to match tolerances and spec
  • Completely rebuildable and individual parts are available
  • 1 year manufacture warranty when purchased through an authorized BC Racing dealer such as Redline360

How does this compare with KW V3 or KW V2? Curious, going to pull the trigger on one of these too.

I don't know much about this stuff , but based on what I've read, these would likely be comparable to the Megan coilovers if they fit AWD. I believe either KW would be superior, I'd be inclined to go KW3 over these if $ was no object. I'm still researching my options my local MINI mechanic said coilovers would be overkill and not great on our NoCal roads.

I know I'm a little late to the party.

Wondering if anyone who has installed these (or any coilovers) knows the weight difference between stock suspension and coilovers?

When i installed coilovers on my previous car (M3) i think I saved maybe a 1 pound. Not much. On the STI I had, coilovers have dropped up to 10 lbs.

Seeking to drop 100-150 lbs off the CM to help that p:w ratio and make it more fun... :D
