Check the dealer's work...aux water pump

Did an oil change yesterday and noticed that my new aux pump was not attached to anything. Apparently they will replace it for recall but can't be bothered to put in the 2 bolts that are hard to get to. Also had the radiator hoses rubbing the shift linkage, but I can't say if it was that way before. Both easy fixes for me, but either could have left me on the side of the road. Just a heads up.
Oh, and the oil filter they used said 'made in china.' It looked nothing like the oem filter I put in. Guess they are really trying to maximize profits at BMW/Mini South Atlanta.

Glad you posted the shop name. Recommend contacting Mini USA also as this isn't the first time that dealer would be getting complaints.

I'm not going to call, I'm sure the dealers get enough complaints. They were good about the free timing chain assembly and loaner car, saved me a ton of money. I don't mind tying up the loose ends. But this is why I prefer to do my own repairs, the techs usually make a mistake.
