Well i convinced my wife to take the plunge. We are trading in our 2012 Mazda 3 for a 2012 Cooper S Countryman ALL4. It will be joining my 2011 Cooper Hardtop.

Awesome. Yeah, we added a 2012 Countryman S A-4 to our stable last year and my other half really loves it. Me... I'm still a hardtop guy thru and thru.

Congrats !

Thanks. It rides nice but nothing is like driving a hardtop. Jealous though that she got a S. She wanted something that is good in the winter. So hopefully this doesn't disappoint.

Excellent! After putting on a thicker rear ASB, front strut tower brace/bar, and some sticky Michelin PSS rubber, I thoroughly enjoy driving our CM JCW. That is a great handling ride on the twisties.

I agree with others that it's not an MCS-let's not get crazy, but there's no question it's part of the BMW/Mini lineage and has the right DNA.

If you have to carry more people or stuff than an MCS can handle, this is the most fun way to do it I have come across. Hopefully you got the manual tranny?

Oh, and you won't be disappointed in the ALL4 in the snow OR on dry pavement. My wife experienced no drama at all during the terrible winter we had, using A/S tires. And on dry pavement, that All4 is fantastic in the twisites. having the rear under power at all times(except at highway speeds) really gets the rearend to rotate like it should through "spirited" corners. I had it on the Dragon last September and had a ball in it.

Congratulations, a multi-Mini family is the only way to go
