I am selling a used Front Strut Brace for R50/52/53 Mini Coopers.

It has approximately 5k miles on it.

The top side has a few scratches on it, but they are purely cosmetic and do not affect the integrity of the brace.

I'm looking to sell for $100 (far less than half the price of a new brace, so I'm not really interested in negotiating the price) plus shipping. I am located in Northern, CT and local pickup/delivery is an option if you are interested.

 

What brand is it and do you know if it will fit over an Alta CAI?

 

I purchased it new from Mini Mania for $250+shipping. I liked it because it's 1 solid bar, but you can easily remove it without taking the tower plates off if you ever need to work in that area.

I think it's their own brand, as it is not the typical M7, Craven, Dinan, or JCW.

And yes it does fit over the Alta CAI (without the box top). That's actually what I have installed as well. It is a littlw tight, but most strut brace installs will recommend you wet the hood liner a little before you close it, and it will form around the brace. It worked for me.
