What up from ATL...
Hey Everyone,
My name is Justin and I live just outside the perimeter of Atlanta, GA. I always loved the Mini Cooper and when BMW brought about the MCS I knew I had to have one.
Work, Marriage, divorce, more work, etc causes you to lose track of things you want. So after 10 years of wanting I finally got myself one. I recently puchased an 05' MCS in Dark Silver, manual tranny with 85K miles on it. The car is in great shape and I am having a blast with it.
I've only added a K&N cone filter, rigged without a heat shield to the stock intake pipe, (while it's still cold outside). Also last week a did a full tune up and added a WMW 16% pulley package with a tens. stop, belt, and plugs.
I love the grunt of the engine and scream of the SC on this car, but I must say after adding the 16% pulley it seems like It needs more fuel. ALMOST anytime I step on the throttle lightly to mid way it seems really jerky like it is starving for fuel. When I am at WOT it feels much smoother, but still like it should be pulling harder (kinda flat). Anyways, I will start a different thread for that discussion...
Glad to be here!

Welcome, show some pics when you can. Check your motor mounts and tranny mounts. Have fun
Thanks!
That's awesome, I grew up around Collins Hill Rd. area of Lawrenceville, GA and been in Gwinnett/Hall for the last 17 years. Any Mini clubs in Gwinnett that you know of, I'd love to meet up with some fellow Mini owners!
