Red face BMW M3 Brake Kit Retrofit

Hi Countryfolk!

I came across a BMW M3 braking system (Calipers, Rotors, and pads... Already have upgraded stainless lines and fluid) with only a few thousand miles on them. Picked it up relatively cheap on eBay and will be seeing how hard it will be to fit them on the Countryman next week.

They are the same 5x120 bolt pattern but I have a feeling we will run into some of these problems:

1. The hub on the Countryman may be too small for the rotor to fit
2. We know we will have to make custom caliper brackets
3. The brake cylinder in the Countryman won't be able to push enough fluid, therefore we will have to retrofit a M3 one
4. I have 19" replica M3 wheels so the brakes should clear the wheels, but if not I may have to space them out ever so slightly.

Well... I'll keep you all updated! If this happens to be a plug and play solution with only caliper brackets needed then this will be one great braking upgrade for not a whole lot of money (for what you're getting)!

Kyle
