So I've had my '03 MINI for about two years and as it is now 11 years old I wanted to replace the seats. Although the R56 seats are sooooo much more comfortable I am not sure how to retrofit the new seats into the older car. I know that they bolt in correctly, it is just a matter of getting the old switches to match up with the new seat plugs and whatnot.

The seats are off a R56 MINI and ARE heated

Going into R50 MINI without the heated function.

If anyone has any links to buy attachments or instructions and whatnot I would greatly appreciate it. This website is such a lifesaver!
