Unfortunately, Mark is no longer with FAM. Because of that, I would recommend a couple of others in the area.

Aaron Weiss at Race-Sport in Boca is a great guy and has prepped several cars - he also bought MINIBEAST from Mark. 800-419-0779

Hope that helps!

Randy

Mark and FAM did some work on my Porsche 996.
Nice guys but a friend had a horrible experience with them, so it would not be right for me to go back there.

I will check out that shop in Boca. Sounds interesting.
Any clue why Mark left ??? also I cant belive he sold MiniBeast!!! He was an awsome driver in that thing.

I would recommend European Auto Service in Dania Beach. Their number is 954-316-6444. Luis is the MINI mechanic there, he is a MINI enthusiast who loves to autocross his MCS. I had my pulley done at FAM although it was pricey they did a great job. It is unfortunate that Mark is no longer there. Does anyone know where he went?

The guy's at Redline BMW in Pompano know what's going on. They did all the work on my E36 M3. They're very involved with Grass Roots Motorsports and the project MINI. Good guy's, reasonable prices, lots of track experience.

I've been to Foriegn Affairs and Renntech and had good experiences. Mark was the reason I was at Foriegn Affairs. Randy was at Renntech for a Pully Party. We're lucky to have a lot of dealers and a lot of shops to make MINI's go fast(er).

I'd try Redline first. But that's just me.

Yes, he lives!
No I'm not racing the new MINI though I will try to keep my hand in Instructing and Driver's Schools. The racing just got too expensive with the constant testing of new parts to find the right combination for me and the track.
All of the listings posted so far are very good for performance work.
Redline - Up on everything new and have tested products themselves to see what works
Race -Sport - Clean shop with insane owner who enjoys the whole performance field. (Decided to keep the MINI he bought from me and sell his WRX!)
RennTech - Did my original pulley. More speed freaks that know what they're doing.
