I looked around a bit before creating this thread but did not find anything too specific. Hopefully this will not turn into a pro and con on runflats! Couple of stories but not exactly what I was looking for. Seriously considering going to non-runflat tires for first set of replacements on a 2013 with just under 18k to get a better ride. I could get another 2k perhaps out of them. Most of my driving is around east TN with a few trips to IL and down to the gulf coast.

My question: Have there been any issues on the Mini roadside assistance program if they are called out for a flat after installing non-runflat tires? I am looking into the Slime + air compressor solution also but my first thought is in the event of a flat I'd rely on the roadside assistance.

I can't remember the last time I've had a flat tire on one of my cars while on the road, but I'm sure one will happen soon after going to non-runflats and i want to be prepared!

I can't answer to the MiniRoadside assistance, but I did buy Michelin Tires after much research, and they have their own Roadside Assistance and their RoadHazard and Warranty on the tires is unbeatable. My 2 Cents.

 

How do you like the Michelin pilot sports PS2?

I'm thinking of getting the Non RFT since I hate the RFT and noisy.
