Compensating plates for bumper carrier

Category: Exterior
Price: $0
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R53
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

I need three compensating plates that go between the bumper carrier and the frame rails for an R53. When I put my car in service mode last month I found out it had only one installed and not the four MINI claims are required.

Please help it’s throwing the ZEN off on my MINI and I can’t sleep at night.

MINI wants about $5 and change a piece for these things. I’m sure most these end up in the trash during part outs.

They are a shim... If you only have one, your car was just built a little straighter than one with 4.
Mine only has one as well, but one of my buddies has 3, the specified 4 is an end of tolerance number which is their max spec. I am sure there are some R50/53/52's out there that have none.

Can someone refresh me where are they suppose to be at, is before or after the radiator bracket?
