I have a lightly used H&R set of struts and springs for sale. The front struts are NEW.
(I had a warranty issue for one of the front struts. I sent both in and they gave me two brand new front struts. Rather than leave the car suspensionless until the warranty claim was resolve, I chose to install a new, even stiffer coilover suspension and sell this setup.)

The rear struts and the springs have about 20,000 miles on them and they are in great shape.

These are used in combination with your stock front and rear top hats (the upper strut mounts).
These will fit any R50, R52 or R53 with the steel rear trailing arms (basically anything prior to R56 except an the original GP).

The ride quality is comfortable but responsive, a bit firmer than stock but still comfortable on long drives. These shocks smooth out the bumps much better the stock MINI sport suspension, while improving on the MINI's go-kart like handling. The sport springs are a bit stiffer than stock, ensuring good car control, and are height adjustable.
These would be an excellent choice for the range from daily driver well beginner to intermediate track use.
