Just thought I would share what MotorTrend is reporting..........product planners in Munich are still trying to figure out what the new line up should be For Minis next gen.. First out for 2014 is the new 2 door hatch(I seen it at this years LA Auto show it looks great) it will obviously be followed up by the convertible but next to follow will be an all new 4 door hatch that's rumored to be servicing as well. The big news is the new countryman is set to share its platform with the front drive BMW 1 series due in 2016. Sadly, as reported, and what has the planners scratching there heads is what to do with the clubman, as mentioned with the new 4 door hatch and the next gen countryman set to come out this would make the quirky little mini wagon a bit redundant. We shall see.

It think the 4dr clubman is ugly as hell anyway. I would've liked another club door on the other side instead.

You mean renders of what someone wants it to look like. There haven't been any new countryman sightings that I'm aware of.

 

Exactly. And considering that MINIs tend to be on a 7 year cycle, I would imagine that the new F60 Countryman will not be out until 2017-2018, not the 2015-2016 prediction in the online articles.
