I had the Alta 15% reduction pulley and K&N Typhoon installed today at the SoCal pulley party.
Computer indicated mpg around town is way up. I haven't filled up yet so I'm not sure how accurate it is,
but I typically got an indicated 15-18 around town before the mods, and now it's showing 22+ in town!
Did I have drywall for an air filter before?
Is this normal? Especially since I've had my right foot to the floor all afternoon!

I have had the madness 15% pulley and Altai CAI installed for about a week now. If I can control myself and how hard I am on the car (very hard to do in Dallas since most places you can get by doing 50mph and not get pulled over and as fast as you want to go on the tollway), I have started to notice my mpg going up by about 2 to 4 mpg (from ~20 to ~24).

And David, I suggest you get the Alta CAI over the typhoon. Not only is is just a overall better product, it sounds incredible! My car sounds like it turbocharged w/ a blowoff valve . Also, I recomend installing the intake yourself. Very easy install especially if you get the Typhoon. The only way to really get to know your car is if you devote time to tinker with its insides.

YES!!

going to Vegas at 48.5 MPH = 26.7 MPG

combing back (pulley, intake, throttle body) 63.6 MPH = 27.6 MPG

Pulley, madness intake, milltek header and cat-back exhaust, 63mm throttlebody.

Before the pulley I got about 27-28 mpg mixed driving and after I get about 26-27 mpg mixed driving.
Sometimes if I don't behave well I get about 25 to 26 mpg but it is relatively stable. Premium fuel, one person, lightweight wheels with Yokohama ES100 215/45-17 tires.

So I would say I do not see much difference with the pulley. I have no trip computer so those are all manual calculated numbers consistent for the last 4 months.
