R56 Air ride
Air ride
Hey all. Looking into buying air ride over the winter for next year. So far I haven't been able to find to many kits besides k sport and air Rex. Was wondering what other options they're are and at an affordable price. Assuming won't find anything under 2,000?
Air ride isn't generally something done cheap. There are just so many components. Not to mention there isn't really much in the way of "kits". Air ride isn't common on the mini platform so many things have to be custom fabricated if you really want to get low. If you don't have the experience to piece together a custom kit you'll have to just take it to a shop and be prepared to spend some $$$$.
Bagriders has a few setups for the mini. Their autopilot setup is pretty nice. http://bagriders.com/modlab/products...ANAGEMENT.html

I know a lot of people use mk5 fronts for our cars but i don't know if they require modification. and in my opinion management is the key to a good air ride system. One that auto levels. That alone will cost you about $1200 for the management system.
