Wishbone control arm removal-Help

Bought an 07 R56 Cooper S with passenger side damage to the lower wishbone control arm. I got the bolts off the ball joint and the articulating bolt that goes through the crossmember, but cannot get the bolt that goes through the crossmember to come out....in other words I cannot get the darn thing off. Is there some magic method to remove the middle wishbone bolt? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you don't have a Bentley to look it up in? From what I remember it should pop out but I'll have to look tonight.

You are guessing right. No Bentley. Have tried using a pry bar, pounding on the bolt section with a sledge. Won't budge. Wondering if I need a bigger pry bar, need to heat it up or a special tool at this point. Thanks
