Intercooler install, upgrade pipes

While installing my intercooler which pipe should I be replacing? I've read it somewhere but can't seem to find it.

Thanks

You don't have to replace the pipes. While you are doing the job, you can replace either one (or both) with aftermarket. Some people think that replacing the pipes are worthwhile, others don't.

Have fun,
Mike

The hoses connecting at the intercooler are easier to get to, easier to get a good firm connection on with the bumper off.

Yes you can replace the one on the "hot" side which is the driver side in the USA. This might be sightly easier when replacing the intercooler not much though. The "cold" side or passenger side you don't replace the tube that connects to the intercooler. You can replace a section of it much further down the line where it connects into the intake.

This info is based on a 2013 N18 engine should be the same for the N14
