Enkei RSF5

Hi guys,

I've been in the market for a new wheel, and I've been waiting for a while for some used 16 inch BBS RCs, but I'm running out of time, as I will need to change my tires soon and I am changing wheel sizes. I recently saw a very good five spoke design on a bmw, and I've started looking into that similar design for the Mini. I recently found the Enkei RSF5, which came out this year:

I can't post an image for some reason, but there is the website. Here's a link to a site with pictures of the wheel on a Scion FRS:

I really like the look. Not as light as I would like it to be at 18.7 lbs for a 16 inch wheel (at least according to Tirerack, I'll have to confirm that as I haven't found the weights anywhere else), but still improvement over my web-spokes.

Any one have these on a mini? Pictures would be appreciated. Also, my r53 is pepper white -- what finish looks better with that color: hyper silver or machined silver?

Thanks!

16x7" et 38 should fit OK, you have a choice of tire sizes:
205/50-16
205/55-16
225/50-16
These are the most common and work with stock suspension.

For a Pepper white MINI the hyper silver stands out more.
The wheel weight is OK at 19 lbs, not light but you trade lightness for cost and durability for street use.

Here is an example of Hyper Silver finish on the RSF5

Some samples of white (non MINIs) and double 5 spoke wheels in plain silver

Thanks minihune! I really appreciate it. Yes, I agree the hyper silver looks good. For some reason the pictures I had seen made it look darker.

I'm still hesitant because of the weight, when I could be getting the enkei pf01s at 14 lbs. I keep fluctuating. Sometimes I really like the five spoke "star" design, and the price is pretty good at about $135 from tirerack.

My next move is definitely to start getting into the right tire. I will probably be getting either 205/50/16 or 215/45/16, although I understand the choices might be ore limited with 215/45. Gotta do more research on that.

Thanks again!
