Hi all. I just recently had my Mini lowered with the H&R springs, and I now have the dreaded vibration issue, which to my knowledge still has no definitive answer on why it occurs.

I've seen a lot having to do with an overly long axle but nothing solid on it yet. However, since people seem to have noticed a difference in axle length, are there 2 different part numbers to differentiate the 2 or is it just luck of the draw? I'd like to get this fixed and I really have no intention of picking the car back up to stock ride height. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

It happens when you lower a high mileage car. Theoretically replacing the axles would cure the problem but I don't think anyone has done it. FWIW I know several MINI dealer mechanics with vibrations on their lowered cars and they just live with it. If they can't fix it, I don't know who can.
