Window Tint in Cary, NC

Hello I was wondering if anyone here have tinted their windows in Cary, NC? How much was it and what % did you tint the windows?

I am looking to have my windows tinted but got confused with the different types they have out there. Plus, how do you know they used the good tint that was offered to you? I'm afraid they sell you the "carbon" but install the cheap ones.

The worst part is I have a problem trusting other people with my Mini so it would ease my mind knowing someone on this thread has the tint done already there. Thank you for your inputs.

I can't say for Cary, but I'm pretty sure Flow Mini uses the 3M place on Capital boulevard. If you call Flow I'm sure they would be happy to tell you who and what they use. They re-tinted my drivers window and as far as I can tell it looks great. No idea on price as mine was a warranty fix and Hendrick in Charlotte had them tinted before I bought the car. If you are ever around Zebulon/Wendell you may want to stop by Autozone and check out what mine looks like with 32%.

A-1 Tint Pros of Capital about 1 mile outside 440. Definitely get the carbon, I was quoted ~$250, I just haven't decided if I really want to tint or not.

They also have a Cary location off E. Chatham

Thanks for the replies. I was quoted $250 for the Carbon (the mid-grade) from TintWorld. Then my friend in Va Beach got me a quote for $150 from TNT, the place I got my 2 front Odyssey windows. I'm sure the price difference is in the material but is it worth it? Both has lifetime warranty and both has some good reviews.

I will be in Va Beach in 3 weeks so I was planning to do it then. I am still debating if the carbon versus non-carbon makes a $100 difference? What do you guys think?

Supposedly, Ceramic tint is the latest technology that does not affect transmission of cell phone, radar, and GPS signals. It does stop most UV rays. (I know it is not NC, but VA quoted me $299 from a authorized Formula One dealer, and I also have a quote of $250 for ceramic from an AZ dealership). Dyed tint will fade purple over time.
