DoS CAI for 2013 Cooper S Hardtop

Hello. I am looking for a CAI for my 2013 Mini Cooper S Hardtop.

Would you guys recommend going with this? Not sure what the difference is between the v1.

Can I ask why? The 2013 actually has a good intake setup. The suction is located next to the driver side headlight. I haven't done any temperature measurements but there is probably not much of a difference between the locations.

That does remind me though, I'll take the measurements this week.

I'd like the BoV to be louder and the turbo to spool faster.

I installed the DDMWorks race intake system on my 2011 MCS and love the sound of it. Both the turbo spooling and the recirc/bov sound. Haven't dyno'ed yet till I do the intake carbon cleaning but my butt dyno noticed a nice improvement in acceleration and responsiveness. The DOS units are really nice though so can't go wrong with either one.
