Trouble reading and clearing codes on GPII. ?N18 related
Hi,
I'm having problems with the codes on the GPII. I'm not sure if this is the GP, or N18 JCW or general N18 specific?
For some background I have a N14 JCW racecar. I have a scanguage and bavarian technic software and my mechanic has autologic.
On the N14 the bavarian technic and autologic read all codes, give information etc, the autologic can code and do activations etc. The scanguage reads emission only codes, but can clear them.
On the GP the scanguage reads emission codes, but won't clear them. The bav tech and autologic seem to read some codes, but only give information for a few. They will clear some but not all codes. Also, the autologic has trouble with activations.
Has anyone else had similar problems with the N18 platform or is it specific to the GP?
Any ideas what code reader is up to date with GP/N18 platform? I need to try and get this sorted, as it is a race car, and it is important to know what codes are being generated and be able to clear them

Is your scangauge up to date on firmware? Got mine from autozone and from day one I had trouble reading codes and clearing on my N14.
Contacted linear logic, they are here on NAM, and sent them the unit for a firmware update specific to MINI. One bonus to that was now it reads correctly and allows me to clear my P0136 emission code thanks to my track DP.
