R50/53 Trouble shooting surging
Trouble shooting surging
So I'm trying to figur out what's causing my 03 MCS to surge. I've done several modifications which I'm sure if looked at individually could potentially cause my issue. The problem become noticeable after my 450cc injector/RMW streetcam install and tune by Jan. During the tune a couple issues were discovered, the MAP sensor was acting up (inconsistent/jumping idle) and the piecing back together of parts after the professional cam install showed that their finishing work was incomplete; lots of vacuum leaks.
I was able to get a used MAP sensor on my car as well as correct the leaks.
My issue arises during my drive, when I am VERY light on the throttle around 2800-3300 RPM the car gets very surgy. Almost like there's a fuel delivery problem or sticky throttle. The injectors were brand new from RMW at the time of install and this particular problem didn't show itself till about 1-2K miles after cam/injectors/tune.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
The only other components installed in the engine bay are DT BVP, Craven intake and the parts previously listed.
