Convertible rear underbody braces
So, I'm assuming since I've not ever heard of it being done that it can't be done, but, has anyone out there ever installed the rear underbody convertible braces on the R53??
They are called tension struts on realoem

You would have to install the Cabrio rear subframe as it is different. It has the mounting points for the braces.
But the bigger problem is the standard hardtop doesn't have the mounting points on the body for the other end of the braces.
so don't bother it will cost you more than it would ever be worth.

If you want a stiffer chassis for a good price look up ultraracing (http://www.ultraracing.my/catalog/in...oller=category)
they seem to have lots of products for a very reasonable price. Don't have personal experience with them but some of my friends have their products and are very happy with the fit and finish, not to mention the effects of the braces themselves
