will these fit?

got a tough, for me anyways. I need wheels and tires asap and found a cool set of wheels and tires. the tires are 225/40/18's. the wheels are 44.5 mm offset, 9 inches wide and 158mm back spacing. will they fit?

Are you on stock suspension? I'm guessing they'll hit your springs. 9" is pretty wide for a mini...

The combo you described could fit but it's tall at 25.1" tire diameter.
225/40-18 normally fits wheels 6.5-8.5" wide, too narrow for 9" wide rim for good fitment.

The rims could work with 245/35-18 tires, tire diameter is 24.8" which is still taller than OEM but OK for the 9" rims.

Something seems fishy about your wheel specs.
Offset of 44mm should have a backspace of 172mm.This would reduce clearance from the suspension parts by about 0.5".
OEM backspace is about 150-154mm.
If offset and width are as described the wheel will stick out about 24mm or 0.9" more than OEM
