new sound system

I'm dynamatting my car, since i hate road noise. and thinking of installing an exhaust system. and while my car dismantled i.m gonna install a new soumd system.

I'm thinking of just replacing front speakers and installing a 8" woofer with one amp fdor everything. What do you think? any suggestions? this is what I'm planning on buying.

replace front speakers, leave factory rear speakers connected to the factory head unit

the 6" imma get are Pioneer Pioneer TS-D1602R
the 4" imma get are Pioneer TS-G1044R
the amp is Lanzar MNX460
the sub is an 8" Infinity Reference 860W
and the signal converter(since i am leaving the factory stereo on) a LC 6

any suggestions? I really dont know that much on speakers. please help me? i dont wanna spend a lot of money

Almost exactly what I did.
Except I used a tweeter in the door in place of the 4" and I use a 10" sub.

The only thing I would change in mine is to upgrade the rear speakers, but still leave them unamped and run only by the factory head unit. Sometinmes they just sound flat and dull to me.

I put the front crossover in the armrests - fit perfectly and they dont move or vibrate.
I ran my own speaker wires to the fronts rather than us the factoy wires.
PITA but worth it I think.
I built a custom box that fits my boot and holds both the sub and the amp.
The L6 sits in the space between the boot and the body on the right side behind the removable panel.

is the 10" too loud?
tweeters instead of 4"? why? even if my 6" are 2 way?

My front speakers came as components with seperate tweeter and 6" mid/woofer, so I figured I didn't need another midrange speaker.
Tweeter handles the highs.
6" handles mids.
Subwoofer bass.

I was torn between the 8" and 10" subs and I think either would work in our cars. As long as the 8" can handle the power output of the amp - thats why I chose the 10".

what did you use as bass?

like what cables did you use to convert the signal from radio into amp for bass?
