What intake would you guys recommend spectra or k&n? Which one and why???

 

For just a drop in filter K&N but for a intake I wouldn't use either. ALTA, JCW or Dinian are you best bets and I'm sure others will confirm.

OP based on the posted picture you appear to already have what looks to be an Alta intake (or Alta style) so I assume you are simply asking for a recomendation for a replacement filter. I would say K&N over the Spectre filters you can buy at Autozone or O'reilly. The K&N is a higher quality product and does justify the slightly higher price over a comparably sized Spectre filter.

If the picture you posted is in fact of your car I am wondering why you are looking to replace the filter though...it looks to be in good condition but perhaps just in need of a cleaning and re-oiling

 

No sorry I wasn't clear that's my buddys mini he was wanting to give it to me I was just wondering which one is better. Thank you for the help
