What fits on a CM JCW? It comes standard with 18in (19 as options)

Does the 17 (or even 16) size wheels fits? Do they have the same brake sizes as an All4? Or they are bigger?

If you go to tirerack.com and enter the CM JCW (MCS) into the upgrade garage and select wheels then you get-

Possible wheel sizes with tire size

16x7" or 7.5" et 40-42mm 205/60-16
17x7.5" or 8" et 45mm 205/55-17
18x7.5" or 8" et 45mm 225/45-18
19x8" or 8.5" et 40-45mm to 45mm 225/40-19
20x8" or 8.5" et 42-48 to 45mm 225/35-20

 

215/55-17 also fit very well on the CM, which avails a much larger selection of tires.

 

16" wheels and below wont clear JCW brakes.
17" OEM and most aftermarket wheels will fit, and will be lighter than 18 or 19 anchors. Stock 17" tire size is 205/45-17, and there is a decent number of top-quality tires available in that size.

i just looked in realoem.com

the front disc on the JCW CMS All4 is listed as 307mm diameter, the same as my 03/2012 build CMS All4

i have mini OEM Euro 16" alloy wheels for my winter tires ... the fit is close, but clears

photo with 205/70R16 tires on Mini OEM Euro Alloy 16x6.5 wheels

The binding constraint is clearance over the caliper, not the rotor !

true but when i looked at one at the dealer, the calipers looked just like mine

what i was not sure of was the rotor size

if the calipers are the same and the rotors are the same size then the 16" wheels should fit
