Mt Evans will open tomorrow--at least to the lake.

I'm not going to miss out on this Tradition

Oh maaan! I was looking forward to this but didn't realize it was this time last year that it opened.

As Don said, take lots of pictures and enjoy the ride! Meanwhile, I'll be sitting at my desk working on a proposal... :-|

Percy, waiting for pictures while working. I am off to shovel. :( I do hope they take lots of pictures, I know at least 3 folks were going to make it.

 

Jamie, Eileen and I were first in line but the gate was not opened by 9am so we went to Idaho Spgs for breakfast. Back to the gate by 11 am and it was still closed. We gave up and went home. Contradicting opening info from several sources. Disappointed. We tried. Will set a makeup day later in the season.
