AC Doesn't Work / Radiator By My Feet is HOT
Dear Experts,
I have two issues right now which I'm assuming are related:
1. The AC doesn't work - i can push the snowflake and no cold air comes out. I haven't checked to see if the compressor is spinning, but i don't hear or feel the clutch engage
2. The radiator behind the panel by the drivers foot is really stinkin hot. I'm assuming this is the heat exchanger the AC would use to cool the cabin air. Is this shared by the heating and cooling systems??
Any thoughts from some folks who know more than I?
Thanks in advance,
Casey

Did a little more research - the two issues are not related: The heat by my feat comes from the heater core (matrix) which is right there heating up the footwell panel. Turns out this is a common issue, as the heater core always has hot water flowing through it - there is no shut off valve.
Still working on the AC though - all fuses check out.
