New to minis and this forum and need S/C help

Hey guys
I just brought a 2003 mini cooper S and this is my first mini and I am already starting to work on it. I am changing all the fluids (including the supercharger oil) because I got it with 112,xxx miles on it and I want to make sure everything in it is good. While the supercharger is off I figured this would be a good time to do the pulley. I'm on a FB forum called tri-state mini and they're all telling me to go with an alta 15% pulley and belt kit. I just wanted some extra input before I made the purchase but need help soon because I really wanna change that supercharger oil. Car is my daily but I wanna do some basic stuff to it (intake, exhaust, smaller pulley, ect) and do more in the future. Is it worth it and safe to get the 17% pulley? Thanks for your help
