I'm in the process of buying an '03 MCS out-of-state for delivery and registration in California. Anyone know if MC's are 50-state cars, or is there some special pollution control equipment peculiar to California? I'm concerned about registration here in CA. Thanks

From what I've read the MINI has met all EPA standards for the 50 states.

Yes MINI is a 50 state car. I bought mine in Florida no problem in registering it in California.

I checked before I bought mine in GA, I am taking it back to cailf in a couple of years. I am conserned how that might change if John Cooper release the Horse Power up grade for the MSC.
